that's why i couldnt understand the selection of mora. why fight a taller bigger guy who has a difficult style in a higher division for less money when he had andre berto who was a shorter guy with a higher profile & a lax defense & could have made you more money.

Agreed. Anyone who has seen Shane fight "slick" boxers over the years knew there was no way he was going to look good in this one. It was a lose lose. If he won, then who did he beat? If he lost, then he is finished. Where the actual fight ended up leaving him is closer to retirement. But if he landed a fight with someone who would actually stand in the pocket and fight him he would actually look alot better.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised. Mosley has NEVER looked good against any guy that boxes and uses movement. All of his loses came from fighters who boxed not brawled. Mosley could probably still look good against guys who will stand in front of him and exchange like Paul Williams or Angulo. Mosley has sort of a Mexican style of fighting.

pac uses movement, so it is possible that shane will not look good against him (pac).

how so? cotto beat shane. cotto lost to margarito who might have been loading gloves. when floyd faced shane, pac was the 1# rated welter not shane.

shane hasnt fought in so long before the floyd fight & after the margarito fight that some sites dropped him overall from the welter rankings.

in the end, floyd & pac both have claim to the welterweight crown. that's why ring magazine has the ring championship vacant.

Mora sucks and fights like a B. He sucks so bad he makes Mayweather seem like an exciting, action packed, high risk high reward fighter and that's saying alot considering I fell alseep on Mayweather vs. Baldomir and Marquez, zzzzzzzzz! No fighter that runs and holds that much should be put on PPV and shouldn't be rewarded with a victory or a draw. That BS last night is what you get when only one guy comes to fight. I never buy BS PPVs the pirates give me a decents enough picture on the laptop and I got to watch football at the same time. Any close round in a fight like that has to go to the aggressor because without the aggressor there is no fight. Could you imagine how even more boring that fight would have been if Mosley fought the same way Mora did???? 116-112 Mosley was right with all the close rounds going to the aggressor for making the fight.
