as usual, you young ladies are getting a bit ahead of yourselves but roger mayweather was VERY high on vernon forrest. in an interview i read, he gave so much praise to vernon's work ethic around the time that floyd mayweather was about to fight jesus chavez.

forrest's technique would have kept floyd at the end of his jab and attempted to catch floyd with the right hand if he tried to recklessly step in.

as for blasting floyd out of there...no. it would still have been a tough fight for forrest though i do thinks he wins off points as floyd figures out the holes in his style too late to win on the cards more often than not.
