I'm not sure he actually denied Cintron's claim that Steward wasn't too keen on the Cotto - Cintron match-up. Talked about not be high on Team Cotto's tolem poll, but...
Cotto just got destroyed by Pacquiao 2 fights ago. So he needs at least one more fight at 154 before facing a physical mismatch like Cintron. Cintron has a big mouth for a guy that dove out of the ring against Williams and before that got a gift draw against Martinez.
i WOULD LOVE TO SEE CINTRON VS COTTO, but if it doesnt happen, which Im sure it won't, its not a bad look for cotto to get one more fight in at 154 before taking on some of the big dogs in that division. I guess Vanes can be used as some chow for Cotto, then bring on a top name again.

I thought the same thing...
Cintron may not have a lot of heart, but he's a pretty good boxer with power in both hands. On paper, he's no easy fight for Cotto.
I wonder if he feels like a jackass after finding out Steward wasn't his manager and therefore has no say on who Cotto fights... Jackass. If he can't knock out Cotto, he'll just cry about some imaginary fould and try to get a cheap decision or a no contest
