OK, that's it..... the "B" word has now officially been used. The war of words continue to fire off between unbeaten junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan and former champion Kermit Cintron. Both Vanes and Cintron are in the running to fight WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto on December 4. The words began to fly after Cintron informed BoxingScene.com that Cotto's trainer, Emanuel Steward, had turned him down as a possible opponent. Cintron told BoxingScene that Vanes was undeserving of a showcase opportunity against Cotto. [Click Here To Read More]

Cintron's a good fighter, but its hard to argue with that.Cintron does take every fight, but he finds a way to make himself look bad still. I'll give him credit for the Angulo fight and that's it. He didn't dive out of the ring? fine. He still *****ed and moaned over a ****ing tumble. A 8 year old would have gotten back up without crying. He's a boxer ffs.Comment

Here is an idea. Let these two fight on Dec 4th and have Berto fight Cotto and bump Chavez Jr off the card.Comment

The X factor gets out in a couple of weeks.
He needs two warm-up fights imo, before he can get back in the mix.
It is rumoured that he will fight this year.Comment

Kermit's a damn lie, sturm's people offered them a fight a 160 for the belt and they rejected it rite after his swan dive.everything's basically kept in house with top rank except with juanma/rafa it seems rite now.Kermit will price himself out again.Comment

LOL. Definitely. I'm down with Cintron vs. Vanes and have Berto move up to fight Cotto - though clearly the beteter fight would be Cotto vs. Angulo which hopefully will get made in 2011.Comment
