The thread shoulda been closed immediately after the first post. These two crybabies should just fight each other...neither has done anything at all to deserve getting a shot at one of the biggest draws in the sport and there isnt a damn thing in it to benefit Cotto in fighting either of these guys.

This is not to say I think Cotto would murder these guys...just that usually you have to have, ya know, impressive wins against some top tier talent in order to get a shot at someone like Cotto, regardless...whether they are currently at the top of their game or not. Sure, Cintron beat Angulo but when the two debacles against Martinez and Williams occurred that killed any right he has to get a big fight until he proves himsefl again. Vanes Martirosyan may be a top ten guy but he simply has not done enough to 'deserve' a shot, yet.

Guys who are big draws typically do not start fighting guys like these two who are actually somewhat of a threat to them until their drawing power begins to decline drastically and they need to try to rebuild some drawing power. Cotto may not be at his peak, but he is also not at a point where he needs to fight guys like this either just to get a fight.

I wonder if things may change if Mosley looks good tonight and calls out for a rematch with Cotto...he has said recently he wants one potentially. Maybe have those two fight a rematch and the winner gets the winner of Pacman/Margarito. Would make sense all around b/c they would all lead to exciting matches. If Pac and Cotto won we could have part 2 for them, and Margs/Mosley 2 could get done. If Pac and Mosley won maybe they fight and Cotto and Margs basically fight in a war to settle the score. If Margs and Cotto won we would again have the war to settle the score, and if Pac and Mosley were interested they could fight each other, too...although I think Mosley will probably retire after his next loss depending on the circumstances. And if Margs and Mosley won then wed get Margs/Mosley 2 as winners and Cotto-Pac could go down or maybe they retire.

There certainly are alot more lucrative and meaningful options out there for Cotto than these 2 'nobodies' crying over who should get to fight someone neither of them really deserves a shot at.
