Comments Thread For: Holyfield: Mike Tyson Turned Down $35 Million To Fight Me

In a recent Golzka report, Evander Holyfield was quoted as saying that former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson turned down the opportunity to have a third fight in the ring. Tyson thinks being headbutted for 12 rounds at 35 million isn't worth it.

That's close to 1 million per minute of Holyfield headbutting. Not bad.

That's because Mikey boy realizes his career is over. Too bad someone can't do the same.

Thats alot of money to refuse, this article seems suspect. 35 million to Tyson when he isn't even a name now? Everyone knows Tyson's past his best, how could he possibly make 35 million after losing to that fat irish guy.

Kudos to Mike Tyson. I'm sure Holyfield wasn't too happy about missing out on a big payday though.
