  • Naseem Hamed VS Curren Featherweight Crop?

How does a prime Hamed match up with the current crop of FW's

    Juan Manuel Lopez
    Celestino Caballero
    Chris John
    Yuriorkis Gamboa
    Rafael Marquez

Out of that list, only Lopez stands a chance against him. Gamboa as well as Marquez, John and Cabellero all get KTFO by Hamed.

Im thinking Lopez would get KTFO as his chin is kinda suspect and he leaves himself open a lot. Good fight and I could see Lopez pulling this one out...but with Hameds power in both hand and the fact that Lopez gets caught alot.....I would put my money on a Hamed KO.

Raf in his prime gives him hell so does Lopez.

Prince is a hard fighter to analyze for boxing fans and historians alike. He's so awkward and has so much a wild card with his speed and power.

One of my favorite fighters of all time, but even I can admit he fought some of the biggest bums in the history of boxing.

If he was around right now in his prime he would rock 24/7. Guy was pure entertainment, boxing needs guys like him or Camacho more than anything. Those guys knew how to entertain.

No offense but Rafa was great at 118. At 122.... I'm not so sure....much less at 126.

No offense taken, and I agree now that I think about it.

Those smaller weight classes get bunched up in my brain very often.

Lopez throws one of those straights he threw against Concepcion and Hamed falls down, he is bigger and stronger. He can get ktfo though.

Hamed and Gamboa are practically the same style, with Hamed being stronger and Gamboa being faster gotta go with Gamboas size advantage and andinside fight, which Hamed didnt like. If Hamed can fight him on the outside, he wins.

I keep asking myself how Chris John is undefeated. Is he past his prime, cause he looked pretty average in both Juarez fights. He got good size to maybe outbox him for a few rounds before Hamed gets one in.

Caballero is 7 inches taller than Hamed, tough to lose with that kind of advantage.

Rafa Marquez, I need to see how he fares at the featherweight division, right now I think Hamed koes him.
