Sergio made weight in his second attempt, this is a bull**** rule. I can understand if Mora just didn't give a **** and said "Fuck it I ain't even going to try" just like Mayweather did against Marquez. But Mora went and killed himself to make the weight and still got Fucked, Plus Mora is making like 240k to Mosley's 1 Million guaranteed.

Whatever though, I ain't getting any of that money anyways.

Yeah, I find that really bizarre. He still made the weight so why fine him? If he knew the rules and was over the limit and going to be fined anyway, he should not have even bothered to try and make it down. He loses the money anyway and will probably be drained as **** after losing those four pounds so he should have come in as he was and still been healthy for it. It's not as if Mosley wouldn't have fought on even if he was above. Mosley ain't like that so he would have fought him even if he was over the weight.

I still don't get the rule though?

He made the ****ing weight. So what if it was on the second attempt. He still made it and shouldn't have been fined unless he wasn't able to make it at all.

I hope Canelo turns out to be a good fighter, I know he will never be great. But if he can put on a good show and fight some top guys he is the kind of guy boxing needs right now. He also has one of the all time bad ass entrances I've ever seen.

Yea, the CASC has some other rules that are janky too. I believe most states allow you to attempt to lose the weight within 1-2 hours and let you weigh in a max of two more times. I could be wrong on the specific time allowed though.

I think the other crazy rule is the, "unable to continue" rule. The one that caused Cintron to get the "L" against Williams. In most other states it would have been a NC since they wont go to the scorecards until the fourth round is completed, but CSAC does it after the fourth starts.

I always wondered if it was a NC if instead of a W, would a rematch have been made? I think so. I for one also thought thought the fight was about to get interesting until Cintron pulled a Jackass 3D for ringside.
