This whole thing is very su****ious. Mora couldn't make weight after training camp but can lose 4 lbs in an hour? I don't think so.

The once respectable California boxing commission is sinking lower every year.

Don't be dense man. It's not like I lose it and keep it off. It is water weight! I put it right back on.

I understand water weight dude, But if he could of lost 4 lbs that easy, why did he wait till now? he knew weeks ago he was off his schedule.

Maybe it is possible but in this case, something is up.

Something is up here. Either the first scale was way off or the 2nd scale was rigged to make it look like it was a fair fight.

But this **** don't make sense.
You can drop 4lbs in 2 hours, it will be water weight though, and if you are already stripped down with little bodyfat and probably already drained like Mora was, it could wear you down.

although what is strange is that he weighed 3lbs over on his first go, but then was able to take off 4lbs in 2 hours after weighing in over, when a guy weigh in over, it usually means he is drained and had trouble with the weight. It is likely there was an inconsistency in the scales

Yeah. A heavy sweater can take off 8-10lbs in 2 hours provided he isn't already drained.

The fact that two other fighters on the card missed weight makes me even more su****ious. This weigh in was held outdoors to be a public spectacle. It's not like a doctor's office.

I love how they always use some cheap ass scales, Why cant they buy those scales that are specific to grams? One of those thats used by the military or private contractors when it can weight anything heavy to within a tee and its computer powered to make sure everything is calabrated and accurate.

Where the diff is thousands of dollars I would think they would use something better than a $100 scale
