ODLH.....new owner of the LA DODGERS???

Damn that be heeeeelllllllaaaaaa LEGIT!!!!!!!!!!! do it Oscar!!!!!

The former boxing champion and founder of Golden Boy Productions said it wouldn't be difficult to find investors to purchase the Dodgers.

The Frank and Jamie McCourt divorce trial isn't even over yet.

The Los Angeles Dodgers aren't even for sale.

Yet, there are people of influence and wherewithal around Los Angeles offering opinions about the future of the Dodgers.

    De La Hoya

Peter O'Malley, the longtime owner of the franchise, thinks the McCourts should put the team up for sale.

And now, Oscar De La Hoya, would be interested -- if the Dodgers were for sale -- in buying the franchise.

"Interested? Are you kidding me? It would be an honor to be somehow be involved with the Dodgers," De La Hoya told 710 ESPN in Los Angeles. "We are born, raised and live here in L.A. We are very, very interested. We would be on top of it. Hopefully something will come out of it. "

De La Hoya, a native of Los Angeles, earned a gold medal as an amateur in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. As a professional he amassed a record of 39-6 and won 17 world titles in six weight divisions. He is the founder of Golden Boy Promotions.

"First off, " De La Hoya continued about the Dodgers. "Obviously, there are a lot problems and issues that have to be resolved. But we're right here waiting and willing."

He added: "We haven't even thought about putting a group of investors together. But it wouldn't be difficult at all."

He's got money but is there any way he has enough to be majority owner?

Dodgers have to be worth at least $500 million don't they?

That'll be cool. Go for it Oscar. I think that would make him the second Latin owner after Moreno the owner of the Angels.
