Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr. Discusses Floyd's Recent Legal Problems

The drama surrounding Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to build as it was revealed late last night that the superstar fighter is facing even more charges in relation to his September 10th altercation with the mother of three of his children, Josie Harris at one of her homes in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mayweather reportedly assaulted Harris in front of his own children while also offering up death threats to the 31-year old and her companion which resulted in charges of assault and larceny after he also reportedly took off with her iPhone. Like father like son. Once a criminal always a criminal. Senior even says he would have done the same. Check out the third to the last paragraph.

saying and doing are 2 different things!! Whole situation maybe blown out of proportion but Jr won't escape everything they are throwing at him. I don't think he will go to prison but probation, mandatory monthly drug test (irony) along with thousands of hours of community service. Maybe an anger management class mixed in with domestic violence.

I mean, Im sure Floyd Sr is worried for his son, and I bet Josie was probably asking for money and what not. But like Sr also said, there's a lot we don't know and that goes for both Floyd and Josie.

But in the end, it doesn't excuse Floyd's behavior whatsoever. The judge isn't going to throw the case out due to text messages.
