    Khan-Maidana: The Unexplored Outcome

The outcome consensus seems to be either be a Khan UD or Maidana KO, but given a trend in Maidana's recent fights don't be completely surprised by a DQ. It could happen.

In the Cayo fight there was a borderline punch after the bell from Maidana, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt since it was so close.

In the Corley fight there was a more blatant and less forgivable punch after the bell from Maidana, and a lot of rabbit punches in a two-sided dirty fight.

Given the widely known weakness of Khan's chin a punch on an unprotected Khan after the bell or while down could be disastrous. I've got Maidana in this and I hope Maidana can show a little more restraint than he's shown recently.

Yeh if Khan takes a shot after the bell or on his way down and acts like a certain super 6 fighter then their will be a good chance of DQ!

Good point though made about Maidana, he does like to brawl and is a little dirty!

I think fighters who punch after the bell deserve the benefit of the doubt, Refs should be right in the middle of the fights right when the bells about to ring so no one can have a chance to land a punch after the bell. Alot of things are going on in that ring, all the fighter is thinking about is trying to win the fight. And with the crowd noises its very hard to hear the bell sometimes. As spectators on HBO, we can easily hear it. But when the fighters are in the ring, its alot harder to hear.
