I was just wondering how you boxing fans feel about Mayweather right now? Poll coming up.
Has Floyd Mayweather Let Boxing Fans Down?

I'm a Floyd fan but I don't feel "let down". The man has let himself down.
I'm not overly bothered anyway as his career as a regular fighter was pretty much over anyway. If this is the end its not like we missed a lot, maybe one or two more fights. -
not boxing fans but there is a fanatical cult of fans that worship opnly one boxer that hate him.Comment

On the real though, he let his admirers down. I'm not talking about *****s, I'm talking about the up and comers and kids that want to be athletes like him that look up to him. Kids that grew up from the streets and see him as an inspiration to better themselves no matter where they came from. In the end, Floyd could have been a poster boy and a success story from the hood, but instead he let his ******ity control his life.
He's made the worst decisions that any man in his position could ever make up to this point in his life. If he doesn't smart up, he'll just be another has-been that will be remembered more for the negative stuff than the things that he's accomplished for himself.Comment

I have always loved FLoyds sweet boxing skills and ive been a fan for a long time but i definitely feel let down. Ive been arguing with random people trying to convince them that mayweather would beat pacquiao ever since he came back, but he has shown no respect for the sport and has made his fans look bad by going on "vacation" when the pacquiao side was trying to negotiate a fight. His recent arrest looks like the allegations are true and that may help his villain status in sports but as a fan i feel dissapointed.Comment

You probably mean "his" fans not boxing fans in general. True boxing fans don't go riding on Floyd's **** just as *******s go riding on Pac's ****. I actually enjoy watching both Manny and Floyd but it's their fans that truly suck. Floyd didn't let his fans down, he let himself down. What's worse is that he did it in front of his kids. I bet that'll haunt him forever.Comment

he's been letting fans down since castillo. crying after he beat gatti should have tipped people off that his career was entirely manufactured. fake retiring to avoid all the real dangerous opponents sealed the deal. only problem is now we will have to deal with all the tards who will claim he's the greatest fighter of all time based on potential not resume. just like ike ikebuchi.Comment
