I liked the way you mentioned about the Cintron fight. I think the host took that up after you had been cut off, he was saying that he thought Cintron was winning that fight too.

Lost to Cintron? I don't recall Paul taking a swan dive through the ropes acting as if he had been shot by a sniper. Sergio Martinez, who was sitting ringside, said himself that he thought Cintron was faking. Also, this price himself out b.s. Sergio isn't a draw, and they asked for an equal split. Paul is the HBO fav, not Martinez. He also happened to win the first fight? Martinez' promoter himself said he didn't want to do a rematch at this point. He preferred to take other fights for Sergio, which is why they went after Angulo. If it wasn't for Angulo thinking he's a mega star that fight would have happened. Believe it or not Paul prefers WW, so if he can make it that's where he has the right to fight. Too bad he hasn't cut ties with Haymon and Goossen though. Sign with Top Rank or Golden Boy already. Preferably TR because of the weight classes he campaigns at. Insect is just that. Grab the Raid and get rid of this guy.

Hmmm, I see, thanks. It doesn't mention anything about the MW title though. Since Martinez is the true MW Champion I'm guessing that this fight will be a once-off, not for the MW title fight. Since if Paul wanted to challenge for the title he would do so at 160.

The main question I have is why should Paul Williams get a crack at the title when he clearly lost every round against Cintron?

He should rematch Cintron before pretending he's a legit contender for the mw title.

Faking or not the fight went to the scorecards and Williams barely threw a punch the 1st 4 rounds I dont know how anyone could have given him the decision.

That makes a lot of sense. I guess it's more about settling the score from the first fight. Williams says he wants to go back to 147 so if the title was on the line and Williams won he'd just vacate anyway and it'd be a waste of a title fight
