I believe Cintron would be a very tough match-up, definitely a huge step up compared to Chavez Jr. He's a bit underrated because of his mental flaws, but his record is decent and all his 3 losses have question marks (the Williams fight had hardly started and he was looking good, and we don't know since when Margarito cheated). Ok, the Martinez-"draw" was a clear loss in my books..
He is a very big puncher, so this might get dangerous.

    That said, War Cotto!

Dont know why cintron seem to be getting chances like this one, Would much rather see the Cotto-Chavez to be honest but I don't think Chavez is ready for that fight, Berto would also be a good opponent for Cotto but he would probably ask for ****** money to fight Cotto.

cintron,jr,or berto all beat cotto, anyone whom cant see cotto is damaged goods is in pure denial.jr is better served waiting till roach trains him just in case , the last thing jr wants to do is lose to a washed up fighter.he only has one fight under roach needs to have more ,to keep from falling into his bad habits, imo jr beats cotto with or without roach but its better safe than sorry.

I love Cotto but I have to be a realist and say :Cotto + Pressure fighter with pop = Loss

I don't think the odds are in Cotto's favor in this one.

Granted, if Cintron wasn't such a skydiver between rounds this dude might have chance.

Cintron-Cotto should be a good fight. Two fighters that don't do well under pressure. With that said I think Cotto has this one if he can take the early heat from Cintron. Cotto by 10 rd tko

I truly dont see how cintron beating cotto would be an upset, in fact not jr,berto, cintron none of those guys beating cotto would be an upset. cotto winning any of those would be an upset. cotto has lost 3 of his last 5,and he aint getting better.or younger hes clearly a washed up fighter with a good resume.

margarito beat cottos ass, clottey beat cottos ass and was robbed in order to set up the pac fight, and pacman beat cottos ass even worse than the other two did. foreman was beating cottos ass until cotto scored the lottery and the guy with 3kos broke his foot. dude what planet do u live on?????? jr chickened out????puleeeeease dude.he didnt want to fly 30hrs to benefit only pac and not himself.really cotto keeps letting u down and your in denial. jr will never be as good as his dad but he doesnt need to be cuz cotto is a shotto!!!jr beats cottos ass every day of the week. cotto aint even a 6rnd fighter anymore.even when he was in his prime they would beat the crap outta him, ive not seen cotto in very many easy fights.not because he faces the best but because he simply gets his ass beat even in victory.
