Saturday marks a fight between Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora, both of which were dominated by the late great Vernon Forrest. It's well documented here on BoxingScene that Forrest was stripped of his title(the title Pacquiao-Margarito are now fighting for) because he apparently didn't want to fight Sergio Martinez. Though I think Sergio Martinez would've brought alot of trouble to Forrest with his speed, I think Forrest could've successfully kept him back through utilizing his long jab - the same jab that dominated Mora in their second fight.
Though Forrests career was brought to a tragic halt over 1 year ago, one can wonder where his boxing career would be today if it wasn't for those 3 thug bastards.
A big scale PPV fight between two former challengers of Forrest, one who defined his career, and another who brought it back, are fighting this weekend.
So I've made this thread as a speculation/tribute thread to the late warrior and great champion.
Where do you think Forrest would be today in the 154-160 mix?
Who would he beat and who would he lose to?
Thoughts on the Mosley-Mora PPV?
