Well, Floyd fought hatton at a 7lb advantage and JMM a 12 lb advantage, as JMM fought at 135. So stop nit picking 1lb or 2lbs. Stop changing the subject in othe words.

Well Pac fans havent got double standards. Its that they havent got an issue with a 1 or 2lb catchweight. Cotto didnt moan, so why should Pac fans give it a second thought?
If Pac drained Cotto 10lbs or so, then it would be an issue. Not double standards.

Marquez wanted to fight Mayweather, so it was his prerogative to come up in weight. I say it's a good thing Mayweather didn't bother making that catchweight - Marquez wouldn't have gone up much beyond 144, anyway.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, was moving up to face Cotto (and is doing the same against Margarito) and thus should've allowed his titleholding opponent to come in at the full divisional weight. Simple as.

Look Manny is the one asked for the catchweights Manny Paquiao is the one who wanted to handicap the fight . It was his choice to fight for a vacant belts at catchweight

people need to stop acting like catchweights are fair.The onle purpose they serve is to have an advantage nothing more. for examble 146 catchweight means the fighter weight goal is actually 145 not 146 because the fighter doest want to risk going over the catchweight limit. pac is full of crap and he knows it. pac knows the affect of weight draing he has been their before.at the end of the day pac can open his big oscar the grouch mouth and say full weight limit but he doest because he wants that advantage.
