    No advantage for ether guy.

Wasn't Martinez offering Angulo a fight at 155 for the title?

He obviously had no problem fighting at 155 so I can't imagine 157 being any different.

    As for the reason.

Maybe PW loss a ton of weight thinking he was gonna be fighting at 147. So he dosen't wanna have gain to much for this fight.

    Fight should be epic.

    Taking bets.

    Throw a number out there.

I've got The Punisher becoming the New MW champion.

There's a a new interview with Paul Williams over at east side boxing dot com (can't post links yet). He says he's going to knock out Martinez.

I got more time to prepare for him. Last time remember that I was training for Kelly Pavlik the whole time and he pulled out like two and a half weeks before the fight. So then they put Martinez in there, so I had to switch my whole style up. You can’t prepare for a champion like that in two and a half weeks. I was preparing for a right-handed person that’s somebody who stands in front of me and stuff, and they had to switch it up to a left-handed person that’s somebody who moves. We couldn’t get sparring partners there. My manager basically told me game plan was going to be to just fight this dude, just jump on this dude the first time. So now that I have more time to prepare for this guy, I’m pretty sure we’ll have some new tricks there for him.
Overall as a fighter, I have to give him his props. He’s a champion. He’s been proving himself. I think he only lost one fight out of forty-something fights, so you have to give the man respect for what he’s doing and all he accomplished. But in my eyes, I feel like I didn’t have time to prepare for him like I should, like I said, going in there with a champion like that. A lot of people are like, ‘Oh you lost. You won. You lost. You won’. Now we’re going to see how it is with me preparing for three and a half months and preparing for this bout and all of that. Now we’ll see how everything goes in this rematch. Bottom line, it’s going to be an explosive fight for the fans to see. I mean I’m excited just knowing that there are talks of us getting back in the ring on November 20. So I’m really pumped up for that. My fans know I’m going to be ready, and I’m pretty sure his fans know he’s going to be ready. It’s going to be another big explosion on November 20.
Oh, there’s going to be a knockout. I honestly believe it’s going to be a knockout, and it’s not going to be me. I honestly feel I’m going to knock Martinez out this time around. Peterson showed me what I allowed the guy to do and what I didn’t do, so I just got to execute my game plan. The stuff I allowed him to do, I just got to take that away from him. Not to take anything away from Martinez. I know he’s going to be looking for a knockout, too. But if it’s not going to be a knockout, it’s going to be a brutal twelve rounds and it will be something where the fans will get their money’s worth. They’re going to enjoy every penny of it.

Yeah he didnt have time to prepare the first fight...as if Martinez did.

It only got close because Martinez got tired, I wouldnt expect that to happen this time.

Agreed but the same thing can be said about Martinez taking the fight at the last minute. Can't wait for this rematch. I had Martinez winning the first and I have him winning it outright this time around.

you guys are idiots. it's martinaz that doesn't want to go back down to 154. martinaz is probably having trouble with 154 now. i remember martinaz's camp saying they want to STAY @ 160. willams is tall but willams is a skinny stick. his body can still make 147. & 160 is too much for his stick body.

willams can't make 160 & martinaz doesn't want to fight @ 154 anymore unless it's a MEGA fight like mayweather.

how are you fools blaiming willams for this is BEYOND me.

i like martinaz but i swear some of you guys on here have opened your butt hole & have turned COMPLETLEY gay for the guy.

                Easy for me.

                Dude is all action.

I guess if you're generally a weak fan it can be hard.

If he doesn't want to gain so much then he doesn't have to. He could fight at 160 and just come in at 154.1lbs.

Martinez will/should not have a problem with this.

I have no problem with a catch-weight fight and it being for a title. But, what gets me is that a lot of P-Will fans(Not you) who **** on Pac for fighting Cotto for a belt at a catch-weight. Will defend this catch-weight fight.

Well Martinez agreed and it's 3 lbs for a guy who mainly fought at JMM, probably not a big deal. I thought the first fight was close, with Martinez winning, but it wasn't a robbery. I'm pretty excited about this one.
