Do YOU rate multidivision champs higher than........

Champs that have stayed closer to their natural weight or the same weight throughout their career?

For me each case is different, its all about who they faced.

depends. if you just go after someone who just happened to win the belt quickly and is not really the champ there, just a guy that happens to have an alphabet belt...thats not really THAT big a deal.

If you go up in weight to beat a guy whos been established there and is highly regarded at the weight, thats another thing.

let me put it this way:
A win over a very good guy at your weight is still better than a good guy at a higher weight
But a win over a very good guy at a higher weight is probably going to be considered better than a very good guy at your own weight.

It depends on the quality of the fighters you beat.

Typically, although I hold Arthur Abraham/Klitschkos in higher regard than Zsolt Erdei, a 2-division champ.

Not necessarily. Cleaning out a strong division >>> rising through the weights taking out mediocre title holders.

Nowadays it isn't as hard to win abc titles in a few divisions. I give more respect to fighters that unify and especially become undisputed champion.
There is a differance between titlest and "Champion"

Yeah I agree. Me and a friend of mine were arguing on pac's (as he said) "greatness" I don't take any credit away from him and his accomplishments, he's a great fighter. But he was getting mad at how I think that's not all it's cracked out to be, as he hasn't unified the higher weights.

And yes I think unifying, cleaning out the one or two divisions is a great feat all it's own.

Kind of like trying to compare Oscar and Felix, which I think are a pretty good comparison

Nah the names on the list matter more. Fighters that move up in weight are not always smaller than their opposition.
