i agree on all 3 of these fight, but they where very close fights. on efight that i didn't think was close at all was Bryd vs. Fres oquendo. that was a bad decision, i'm glad it happened though, cause i would hate to see Fres as a champion

De la hoya gave that fight away, everyone knows that, and knows that he couldve won that fight without a doubt but he didnt. Hes ****** for letting him win

I really apreciate this post,it is a really good arguement.
But my piont is that, if I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the man, I,m sure others did as well, right or not.
I also always got the impression tha all he wanted to do in there, was to make a man miss without really wanting to make him pay. There are many Fighters today that have the talent to do that, but but I believe will not, because they learned there lesson from Whitaker. ( no money ).
DelaHoya tried the same thing with Trinadad and was slammed. ( even though he did not look as natural at doing it. )
I also believe that Whitaker got credit for illegal tactics, that he should'nt of. Although I thought he won the Chavez fight, I dont consider it the worst decision even in the last 10 years, much less of all time.

Manuel Medina's "loss" to Johnny Tapia, where Medina dominated 9-10 rounds of the match....

Lewis-Holyfield 1 is an obvious selection...

Whitaker was a master boxer, last thing he was, was boring. Winky & Bitchkins are boring, especially Winky but noway Whitaker was boring. Whitaker never made fights boring. He took a good punch just like PBF. PBF is very similar to Whitaker, just with a bigger punch. Whitaker didn't have too much power, but boy the guy was a special boxer. Guys like PBF & Whitaker don't come everyday. These 2 guys are the best boxers I ever seen. You can't get better then these 2 guys.

Hagler was my idol when I was a kid. The guys is my favorite boxer of all time, I knew he won the fight against Sugar Ray but I can't put it in the worst decision ever, it was a close fight.

Oquendo vs Bryd was ****, just plain horrible, but whats funny is that if he had gotten the belt, Ruiz would own two today...
