lets set a few things straight... Vanes never called out Lara, Vanes doesnt call out people below him. This Lara bum has only 13 fights and hes struggled in a few of his bouts against some real real bums and has a lot of work to do. Vanes is at a level of fighting for a belt and why would he waste his time fighting a guy thats fighting Vanes' leftovers (i.e. Willie Lee).
Secondly, now way, after what happened to Jacobs does Golden Boy even risk this supposed future super stars potential by putting him in against a guy that can derail his career. Vanes wont duck this guy if the money is right, but Vanes has put in his dues to get to the level hes at to challenge for a title not fight the likes of Lara and Shawn Porter or any other prospect... when and if this fight does happen all you idiots will see that Vanes is a cut above Lara...

Lara been Calling out Angulo and Martinez for the last year or so, neither of them want anything to do with Lara, I think he beats them both and against Angulo that would be VERY EASY, Lara would box CIRCLES around SLOWgulo

Vanes is a B!tch he won't put that undefeated record up against Lara, he will hide behind his Promoter like the rest of these Pu$$ies do, Lara is 100% Correct, Hiding behind a Promoter seems to be a COMMON thing in Boxing now, the Fighters have no say so and it is not even suppose to be like that, the Promoter is suppose to work for the fighter...NOT you working for the Promoter

Vanes got nothing to prove vs Lara. Vanes has put in his good work and has gotten to where hes at because he got skills. What does Vanes gain by fighting and beating Lara... All you ****s that are on this site claiming Lara will beat up Vanes, will come back after Vanes wins, and say Vanes beat a guy who wasnt ready, he beat guy with "Only" 13 wins... its a lose lose situation for Vanes. There are better opponents out there that lie between a Vanes and Willie Lee, I ask why didnt Lara and his promoters go out and look for those guys to fight, instead of picking a guy who had last fought in December and was knocked around silly by the same Vanes... you wanna go from a Willie Lee to a Vanes Martirosyan??? gimme ****in break... Vanes' resume is far stronger than Lara's and Vanes does not need Lara, Lara's got a lot to prove, like knowing how to move his feet before he can be ready for this caliber of a fight....

Well to tell you the truth...both of these guys should get it on. Both of them have not proven nothing. The only decent name on Vanes resume is Andrey Tsurkan and Kassim Ouma (Which we all know who really won that match). Lara impresses me sometimes. A vanes match up this year would be perfect for lara. If Vanes wants to prove he is a top 154 contender, he should beat lara and go up against a Daniel Santos, duddy, foreman, or a Dzinziruk. Till then he should keep Angulos, martinez, and cottos name out of his mouth. Same thing for lara.

Also, lets not forget one fact here people... Lara is not ranked in the top 15 by ANY of the sanctioning bodies. Vanes meanwhile is ranked top 8 in all and is as high as #3 from the WBO.

It would make much more sense for Vanes to fight a lesser known but high ranked undefeated prospect like Austin Trout (#3 WBA) then it would for him to fight Lara, for example.
