One of the heaviest punches I've seen a fighter take, and manage to get up from to go on to win was when Mike Tyson floored Buster Douglas at the end of the 10th round, only for Douglas to get up and knock Tyson out in the 11th!

Over the last century, which single punches have you seen that amazed you the guy was able to get up from and continue fighting?

nige benn vs Mclellan, he was in la la land when the press guys pushed Nige back into the ring in the first, to win the fight let alone survive the round was something extraordinary.

Also larry holmes vs Mr Snipes, holmes was all over the place and how Ronaldo didnt finish him ill never know.

Case could be made for Corralles as well as he was pretty much done when he found that punch to stop castillo.

Micahel Brodie's had quite a few moments where he's looked like his about to be knocked out, only to get up and win.

Razor Ruddock against Tommy Morrison and Larry Holmes against Earnie Shavers. Both tremendous knockdowns and I don't know how Ruddock got up looking so clear eyed

This was a good fight. One of my favorites. Had the 10th round been 30 seconds longer, boxing history would be way different now. Mclein flooring Byrd during the first round was a good one. Right now that fight is on my mind.

Julio Gonzalez was basically knocked out three seperate times in one fight by the late Julian Letterlough-especially the first knockdown...I cant believe he was able to rise an d still win that fight.

If anyone has not seen this scrap it is a back and forth must!

Recently JASON LITZAU in his last fight that dude got his head twisted side ways and got back up.

I still believe the ref in the first jones jr fight didnt do a fair job cause roy got up before 10 and the ref stopped it, I would have gave jones more chance and then if he was throwing back I would stop it.

I would not use the Douglas vs Tyson fights as suprised as Tyson never got up fully. More like Larry Holmes vs Earnie Shavers. Because if u are talking about suprised Lennox Lewis vs Hasim Rahman.
