pound 4 pound

I was looking at my ring magazine the other day at the top 10 pound for pound guys. Is it just me or do they really seem to favor american fighters? Ponsalek wongjonkam (i have no idea if i spelled that right) finally cracked the top ten which i'm happy about, but how is mosely still at number five after the beat down he took? i'm american so i always try to support american fighters and we do have lots of good ones but damn. Any thoughts on this?
