Fourteen years ago on October 25, 1990, Evander Holyfield became the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. Holyfield turned pro in 1984 and won the Cruiserweight title in July of 1986 from the tough and formidable Champ, Dwight Muhammad Qawi. It was only his 12th fight as a pro. Many historians regard the Qawi-Holyfield title bout the best Cruiserweight fight in the history of the division. Something I fully endorse. Today Evander Holyfield is acknowledged as the greatest Cruiserweight in division history. Something else I fully endorse. [details]

Title says it all, accept he should have stopped fighting in the 90's he's too old and taken too much punishment in his many battles as a fighter, if he were to leave the sport now he would not be looked down upon, if anything he would be more respected for making a smart decision because in all reality he is going to be fighting for an awful long time if he decides he is fighting till he wins the title again! Could you picture Holyfield against someone like Byrd now? I cant sorry Evander -
