Bull****. Froch is not the type to duck out of a fight. Look at his recent opposition - Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler. You can criticise his technique or how much he runs his mouth off, but he doesn't duck anyone. You have nothing to back up what you claim anyway, it'd be like me claiming Kessler is faking his eye injury and I know you'd get upset about that!

I'm pretty sure Froch would fight AA in a heartbeat. It's not about him but the promotors. Politics my friend.

I knew this tournament wasn't going to fly, but it was a great ride while we had it.
You never see tournament that include Champions because there's to much factors to deal with.
They did better than I expected.

Thats a good way to look at it. Its been along time since the best in one division fought the best back 2 back. To Kesslers credit his eye did get torn to pieces in both of his fights, but I have a feeling that Froch pulled out after hearing that his fight with Abraham wasn't going to be for the WBC vacant championship. Did he really expect them to sanction a fight b/t 2 men coming off of loses. Hopefully the fight is rescheduled and we get the see that fight at least because its guaranteed to end in brutal KO.

1 1/2- 2 years in its self is too much of a commitment for that long during a career, too many intangible factors come into play when that is the case. On top of the fact that it narrows the options of fighters far too much. Imagine is Bute has to go 2 years without fighting any of the 6-7 contestants involved in the tournament.

If fighters fought a little more frequently nowadays it could possibly come off. However that isn't the reality of boxing in the 21st century.

i know the duration is too much. but boxer's health should be put in consideration. this tourney is composed of elite boxers. so we dont know how battered they are after their bouts.

to be honest with you i never watched their fights anyway. all i watched was the documentary. all the fights were ****ty and there's always a hometown advantage bullshiet. what ever happened to taylor anyway why didn't he came back?
