for all those accusing me of being a fairweather fan, I'm not.. My post history is full of posts where I stand up for, and/or support Floyd. And I knew he had a past of hitting women here and there..but I never thought he would stoop so low as to do it in front of his own child. Enough is enough. He just thinks everyone will go along with his lowlifishness because he is so skilled. Well maybe some do, yall can be like his disgusting "yes men" he keeps at his mansion, but not me. I have principles when it comes to abusing the mother of your children. I don't care how much of a ****ing ho she is, or how much she pushes buttons. A line in the sand is a line in the sand.
As a boxer, I still respect his skills. What has changed is who I will be rooting for when he fights. I really hope Pac sparks his ass, in all honesty.
Yes, I'll support Mayweather. He's the best fighter I've ever seen fighting in my time so of course I support him. Whatever he does outside the ring is his own business.
Honestly I personally would still buy his PPV because he is a outstanding boxer who has the ability of making other boxers look bad. Do I support his actions outside the ring...HELL NO! But I watch boxing to see two men one on one fight in the center of the ring. Hopefully will get to witness Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao.
You just can't justify hitting a woman, no matter what the circumstances, it just isn't on. Particularly when you are a prize fighter.
What's wrong with just saying you recognise Floyd did wrong but that you will support him anyway? As Floyd fans there is no need for us to justify all his actions. Some people don't seem to understand that.
Thats the difference between you and those like you, and those other clowns. They defend him to no avail, no matter what he does and they try to put a positive spin on it.
Credit to you Dan. Some of these characters act like as if they know Floyd personally and hes going to find out they didn't side with him. Even if they did happen to be friends with him, a real, true, down with you to the end friend, is going to be straight up and tell you whats real. Floyd obviously doesn't have those types of people around him and from the looks of things, many of these guys constantly supporting him, would die to switch places with those yes men.
of course all his fans should still be supporting floyd as a FIGHTER.
anything that floyd does outside the ring should be should be viewed by his fans in a different perspective though...it's just sad that there are hardcore floyd fans who are trying to defend his negative actions outside the ring.
Playing a villain and being alleged on multiple crime charges makes it hard to support him. It's sad to see someone gifted and talented but don't have the proper guidance ...
