I don't agree that boxing will die but it will take a hit. Most of the threads created are about Mayweather....which is ashame.

When he retired in 2008. Boxing didn't take a hit. It didn't miss a beat.

If boxing does take a hit and if it does die. It would had nothing to do with Floyd. Fact is as long as boxing puts the best competitive fights out there and the best fight the best. Boxing will be as good as ever.

Boxing survived the lost of not only greater fighter but fighters who were more charismatic and more marketable. Boxing would do just fine without him.

But, this is my last reply on this subject since this is all about Bradley, Shaw, and Alexander. Not about a douchebag.

Yeah all Bradley has to do would be to wait till May 2011 and either go it alone if he thinks his name is big enough or sign with another promoter, I think fighters need to do this more often, He cant fight Alexander under Gary shaw without extending his contract with Shaw so we might not see the fight until the end of 2011.

I know Gary rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but there's no denying that he's one of the few promoters (if not the only one) consistently willing to match his kids tough, without strings attached (meaning, no options on the other side).

Also, most of his past contracts weren't even on paper, but handshake agreements. He's been ****ed over far more often than he's ****ed his own guys.

I agree he really test the fighters he has...It would suck if Timmy left Shaw but hey it's bout money got to do what makes sense to you...
