I think he boxed better then i thought he would. But i agree recklessness would help him out more then boxing in this fight

I thought he looked pretty good boxing against Lock. Maybe his boxing will continue to improve. It's hard to say looking from the outside. Lock wasn't a real threat to KO Ponce De Leon so I think that's why he stuck with boxing. I think Escalante may tag him a couple times and they'll both be throwing wild blows. It's interesting, but we'll find out Saturday.

He barely eked by Lock and if I remember correctly he got stunned by Lock towards the end of the fight, not really a good sign.

This fight is getting alot of attention in Ciudad Juarez. Apparently there's bad blood between them or something I'm too lazy to look it up.

Oh ok, Escalante defat Miguel "mickey" Roman, not to be confused with the other "Mickey" that want to fight Gamboa next. Miguel Roman is the one with the robbery, not the one at the Gamboa press conference.

I think Ponce defeats Antonio too.

Ponce De Leon did well early on but Lock was giving trouble, especially late in the fight. His skills didn't impress me in that fight. Lock is a spoiler but the manner in which Ponce De Leon won wasn't that good IMO.

eked by lock????lol, de leon outboxed him with his jab pretty much for 80% of the fight.......by the time lock started coming on, de leon knew he had the fight won.......

i hope de leon wins.....he is pretty uncoordinated though... i can see escalante teeing off on de leon in spots.....and since the Lopez fight, De Leon's chin doesnt seem as sturdy as it used to be...

De Leon's long armss and natural heavy hands will have to help him keep Escalante honest....

fu.ck it, i say De Leon wins by late TKO.....

You need to rewatch that fight. Ponce busted Lock up and outboxed him most of the fight.

He didn't pitch a shutout, but there was no doubt of who the winner was.
