This thread should have been closed a few posts ago, aren't anyone reading them correctly??!!! It was explained before and if the ts just made some more research on this matter maybe he won't get owned so badly... Bacause if you followed that fight from the beginning you will learn that Manny Pacquiao back then was already considered a tall lanky flyweight and he was young and getting bigger even faster. He was way over weight by 8-12 lbs the day before the weigh in, I can't remember the exact weight and those were lean muscles not fat, but the point was, he forced himself to make weight and tried as hard as he can to drain as many liquid from his body as possible. If it were body fats he could have retained much more liquid in his body as needed. After the weigh in and Manny was still clearly over the weight limit, he lost his belt and then was already severely weight drained and dehydrated. So at fight night, Manny doesn't have the stamina, the pop and punch resistance that he normally has, but against his trainer's advise and being the true warrior that he is, he still went in for the fight, and so came the lose. And if you're a logical person, you will definitely get it on why did Manny jumped 2 divisions higher right after this fight...!!!
QUESTION: Why did Manny duck his contracted Rematch with Medgoen Singsurat?

Yep this is true brother. He was overweight on that fight and the WBC strip him. I remember he was 113lbs on weigh-in. Over 1 pound. This is also his last fight at Flyweight because he can't make weight anymore. He moved up to super bantamweight the next fight. I'm telling you the truth and I'm not lying brother. I've watch Manny Pacquiao from the beginning.Comment

Yeah how convinient that it works for Manny that excuse (then he should had not fought) but when it came to Morales or Cotto that excuse is no good. Why cause Ronnie Nat said so, that writer all he is a cheerleader that cannot be imparcialLast edited by STREET CLEANER; 09-13-2010, 09:34 PM.Comment

I don't doubt that he had trouble making weight cause at the present day look where he is at. Then do we have a case a naturally bigger fighter that wa able to make a lower weight artificially and going in with an advantage? Or can we use the same excuse that Cotto came at 145 and then moved up to 154 after the Pac fight? You see how this worksYep this is true brother. He was overweight on that fight and the WBC strip him. I remember he was 113lbs on weigh-in. Over 1 pound.
