i think soto is waiting to fight barrera or morales. he's not interested in a fight with rios.

People keep wondering why Peterson stopped using his jab, but I checked out older fights from Rios. And he does that to opponents, there's something in his style that makes his opponents afraid to throw the jab at him. His opponents aren't beating him by jabbing him to death for 12 rounds. He forces a dogfight on his opponent, they want to win? They have no choice but to fight his fight. He's great at cutting the ring off in my opinion and always is breathing down his opponents neck.

I think Rio' style matches perfectly against boxers(he doesn't give them many chances to counter punch), I don't know how successful his style would be against an opponent like Maidana though. Two fighters who love to fight in dogfights.

Rios is fun to watch, he hits and gets hit alot. Hopefully he wont burn out fast

We need Rios to fight 5X's a year. I would also like to see Pirog fight 5x's a year, those are the 2 breakout fighters of the year imo.

Didn't really say that he will fight either in Dec, no HBO/Showtime dates which means Top Rank PPV which means no good matchups.

They could do a double header with both those guys just with the money they are paying Berto. Could probably do 2 shows with the money they pay Dawson, HBO needs to get with the program. People don't want to see undefeated boring guys, we want to see exciting risk takers.
