It seems that when he has an opponent that he's obviously better than, but who is also durable, Gamboa just gets bored. He can't KO the dude at will and starts to get antsy so he goes into his offensive whirlwind and gets caught. I believe he KNOWS how to be defensively technical. But when his opponent is slowing down the fight, he wants to just get rid of him opening up dangerously.

I gotta agree a bit with the TS, he was getting frustrated at the fact his opponent wasn't going anywhere. It was an obvious foul when he hit him down, and on the back of the head. shocked he wasn't disqualified.
