it hasn't been the best but here's hoping the November and December cards give us a much needed boost

Far from the best, but certainly not the worst. There are a few decent FOTY candidates. Calderon-Segura, Escalante-Roman, and Burns-Martinez are the only fights I can see taking it.

November and December looked stacked but who knows if we'll see more cancelations? What was the FOTY candidate this week? The 2 weeks before I agree.

We don't know, what we do know is that it's so stacked that it won't really matter if there is. It's to the point we have almost 2 great matchups every weekend.

Rios Peterson, Martinez-Burns, and Calderon-Segura, back to back to back. Rios-Peterson was on its way to being FOTY, until Peterson's low blows made it settle for a candidate that will probably get knocked off in the next coming weeks. I'll put money on there being another one this upcoming weekend as well.
