So is Brandon Rios going to fight Miguel Acosta next?

The Rios-Peterson was a WBA eliminator. So now Riso is the #1 and mandatory contender for the WBA strap that Acosta holds right?

I know he called out Soto and Ortiz. But, I don't neither is likely to happen next. So maybe Acosta next?

I wouldn't mind seeing him against Urbano Antillon either.

I would like to see that. Acosta is a very good fighter despite his record.

Acosta is a good LW. I would like to see that fight as well. Or maybe have the Antillon fight first?

I know they were signed to fight but I think Rios pulled out due to an injury. I still think it is a good fight.

Why wouldn't Soto and Rios be made? I think that would make more sense right now given his recent performance against Peterson.

Acosta is going to be a very, very tough fight for Rios. Stylistically Acosta should be able to beat him unless, Rios can consistently cut off the ring and connect to slow him down.

Antillon brings the same amount of pressure, but couldn't win rounds and eventually got stopped, if Rios can beat Acosta, he is the real deal.

That's my point, Rios isn't excatly elite just yet but Soto is still a good fighter despite what anyone thinks. If Rios rocks Soto's knott and wins he'd be on the up and up quick...

Eh I am not sure Soto would step up at this stage. He wasn't to eager to fight Peterson. I think he is content in fighting lesser opponents and wait for a money fights against Morales, Barrera, or JMM.

Maybe if Rios gets the WBA title. The chance of unifying might give Soto the reward he wants. Since moving to 135 Soto hasn't really looked good.
