    Searing Jack Johnson Tribute:

Less than a month old, but I apologize if this is a re-post,

RP is definitely making up some solid ground on GP in the youtube boxing video production races lately.

Seen it a while a go, Reznick is amazing, my favourite editor on YouTube no doubt.

I think his work in 2010 crushes GP's more recent output. The latter has gone backward on himself and become lazy and formulaic in his style since peaking in Summer/Fall '09...the videos are still pyrotechnic and glossy, but lack the substance and interpretive vision of his best works. Also, he's recycling a lot of the same footage ad nauseum now.

I'll say that Reznick is the new champ for now until GP steps his game back up and snatches back the crown.

I love that these guys inspire each other to greater heights, though. GP clearly raised the bar and forced others to step it up when he came in. Now one he possibly influenced has edged in front of him. Reminds me of the 1960's music production races, Spector, Wilson, Boettcher et al.

Somewhere in time the old school fighting style was lost.

                JJ was the man.

Couple of weeks, it'll be one focusing on either Gerald McClellan or Edwin Valero depending on which comes together better in the next few days.

Just starting out with inspiration from these big hitters.

                  Thanks for asking, man. :-)
