For the Record: Vitali Klitschko Rarely Ever Clinches Why Do People Think He Does?

Seriously Vlitali almost never clinches, the most Ive seen him clinch was against Lewis and thats because they were two giants who would each throw a punch and then were face to face with eachother. Other than that the dude never clinches. He throws a variety of punches, has one of the highest KO ratios of any HW champ in the history of boxing (if not the highest), he doesnt get knocked down and he throws almost 100 punches a round now. When would he have time to be clinching? People grab him sometime, but when does he grab anyone else?

I hear it all the time..Vitali is jab jab clinch. Maybe Wlad, but Vitali is totally different.

Also if you watch the Peter fight, Wlad wasnt allowed to stop the clinch by pushing Peter away, he got warned almost every round for trying to do that. what is he supposed to do in that situation? Wlad was smart and everytime Peter clinches Wlad made him pay by literally just hanging on Peter and putting as much weight as possible on him.

Watch Ali vs Frazier if you want to see some clinching/pushing down ont he back of the head etc...

Who cares. Clinching has been used by every boxer. Get over it.

I never said clinching was bad. I was pointing out the fact that people say he does clinch which he doesnt. Its like if you said that Floyd Mayweather was a south paw. No ones saying south paw is bad, but youre still wrong.

If by rarely you mean frequently then I agree.

Dude, when does Vitali clinch. Vitali throws more punches per round than BHop ever did and Bhops a freaking middle weight. So when does he clinch? Other than the lewis fight tell me a fight in the last 10 years where he was clinching excessively.

Of course he does, nothing is wrong with that. I just always say I think he would get blown away say 10-15 years ago if he was as this good.

End of the day you can only beat who is in front of you and the brothers are doing that, I think someone like a prime holyfield, lewis or tyson would defeat them everytime and generally nothing can change my view because both brothers were better boxers in their late late late 20s being in their physical prime

kudos to them for maintaing at a good physical level but make no mistake bar david haye the heavyweight division is full of average boxers

if they honestly dominate haye my whole view on whoever does it will change but I just dont see it happening

Typical of the ******s that post here.

I don't have any problems with the Klitschko's style as long as I get to see a KO sooner or later.
