come on, hes 46 years old. do you really think that he could ko rjj if rjj beats tarver??
joeboxer, i understand where your coming from, its just...i cant see it happening.
and im not sure it matters if he is a man of his word, when your outmatched your outmatched.

if hearns fights someone like george kahlid jones or montell griffen, i will belive his comeback is real. i just think you guys may be getting ahead of yourselves is all

Hearns is my favorite all time fighter, so no point in arguing with me bro...

      Why?

      Because I'm Biased!

You guys may think this is the dumbest post ever, but this thread is allready way out there so I don't care.

I think he has a better shot at beating Tarver than he does at beating Jones.

Remember in the first Jones fight or the first Johnson fight when Tarver would just lay back on the ropes and "pretend to be hurt" so that his opponents would tire themselves out, although it looked more like he was just taking a break.

I think that if he layed back on the ropes and "pretended" to be hurt with Hearns, Tommy might just come out with one of his 10 punch haymaker combo's and hurt Tarver for real.

Instead of taking a knee Tarver would just take the punches on his feet without responding. At which point the ref would jump in and stop the fight.

I think Hearns is taylor made to beat LAcy or Calzaghe right now! He should avoid Jones and Tarver...these guys are way to lack a dazical in the ring...Hearns needs to get into the ring with Lacy or Joe...these guys would not stand a chance against a vet like Hitman!

            ****** threads deserved ****** responses.

I once was the master at deciphering sarcasm. Not anymore...I believe this thread, & some responses to it, are actually serious !

Tommy Hearns shouldn't be boxing anymore, period.

Look at the poll, about half the people think that he has some slim chance at least to beat Tarver.
