    Tszyu wants Hatton Rematch?

    Tszyu wants Hatton rematch!
By Ray Wheatley -- World of Boxing
Future Hall Of Famer Kostya Tszyu has revealed that if he returns to the ring it will have to be a rematch with IBF 140 pound champion Ricky Hatton, who he lost the championship to on June 4th in Manchester, England via 11th round TKO. Tszyu said. "If I decide that I want to fight again it will be a rematch with Hatton." Johnny Lewis, who trains Kostya, is against a comeback for the the former unified champion. Boris Tszyu, the father of Kostya, is in favour of his son returning to ring action. Boris Tszyu said. "For Kostya to achieve all he has in his career and then walk away after this - it would be wrong."

I think Tszyu needs to fight another top 140 pound fighter to re-prove himself and then fight Hatton in a rematch.

I think he'll win a rematch because Ricky wont be as hungry and determined whereas Kostya will ...

Like Mayweather said Cotto is still "green". Tszyu has much more too lose fighting Cotto and Cotto has much more to gain should he come out victorious. No one wants to fight him right now there just isn't enough money in that fight and nothing to gain.

Business first though... He must regain the title lost to Hatton before he can fight Mayweather. Anyways, Mayweather wouldn't fight Tzsyu without a title. If this can happen before the end of the year... damn! It's the year of the rematches. Can anyone think of any other year that boxing has had great rematches like the ones we're getting this year?

I think Hatton vs Tszyu should be in MSG or Atlantic City. Tszyu fought Hatton in England now its time for Hatton to return the favor and make his US debute with a great rematch.

I don't understand why he quit on the stool. There seems to be a trend of this here lately. Every time I see some one quit on the stool, I lose some respect for that fighter. I try not to, but it happens any way. I would much rather see them take a knee in the middle of the round.

Why would Kostya have to reprove himself? Hatton didn't kick his ass all over the ring the fight was close. He would only have to reprove himself if he got totally dominated which didn't happen.
