if it goes past 6 rounds its automatic fight of the year

i think michael hits harder but rios has higher output.
no quit in either and dont mind taken a punch to get a punch.
if there was a boxing god they make this happen.

            He wasn't man.

Rios had shaken it off by the time of the DQ and was getting his momentum going again and piling it on.

Rios would have stopped him, the only thing Peterson could've done to stop it or slow it down is land detected or undetected lowblows. He would've been stopped either way without him. Rios was too strong and just relentless.

Acosta has a great style for Acosta though. He gives constant lateral movement and is a really good counter puncher with power and great conditioning.

Rios has to be that good to stop him. He could be, but Acosta will make it very, very tough on him.

I wonder if his brother would've done any better.

He would seem to have better defense and hes more likely to box.

They both have basically the same styles. Lamont is just faster, better combos, and his defense a little tighter. Anthony has more power though. They are an orthodox poor man's Winky Wright's with leakier defense, without the great consistent jab, and his P4P physical strength.

Those combos would've backed anyone else up at the very least, but Rios wasn't anybody else. Lamont would've gone 12, but would've still lost.

Kats got chin checked by old Casa and saw Brandon fight before. The guy got power and talent. Rios by close decision or late TKO due to cuts.
