Skelton is alright. He isn't good enough to beat Toney. Though I am not that impressed with Toney either. Toney UD.

If Byrd looks to be fighting Williamson and can't be talked out of it, the only fighters really available for JT that I'd be interested in would be Kirk Johnson and JC Gomez. Otherwise, almost anyone you can think of that's worth a damn isn't available.

It sucks, because Toney's not getting any younger.

I agree with some of you guys... James Toney is over-rated!

I think he's more for the WWF Wrestling fans of boxing!

Toney will beat Skelton easily, either by UD or a late TKO. It's ****** fight for both guys, Skelton is not ready for a guy like Toney & why Toney isn't fighting for one of the belts, I guess non of the champions want's a piece of Toney. Damn I hate the heavyweight devision, it has been a joke for a long time.

Yeah as we all know Toney is the best heavyweight ever.Which he proved by beating Ruiz a bum,Booker a bum i never heard of,and a over the hill Holyfield.Toney would outbox Matt just like he did Ruiz.Or better yet just like he outboxed Montell Griffin.Toney was good as a middleweight but has yet to beat any heavyweight yet (All 3 of the guys he beat at heavyweight started their careers as cruiserweights)Matt can punch he knows he can punch so he wouldnt grab and hold fat azz Toney.Matt should beat Toney would ease.

It's not the fact that Toney is a great Heavyweight, it's the fact that Skelton is an absolute joke! The guy has about as much finesse as a gorilla. Seriously, I cannot believe this guy hasn't lost yet (even though he hasn't fought anybody yet). He doesn't know how punch, he may know how to kick from being a kickboxer for so many years or whatever he was but he does not know how to punch, he comes forward non-stop like a demented goat and yes he's difficult to handle for domestic level fighters but James Toney is an entirely different story. Yes Skelton is big and strong, and yes he's fearless, but FFS if you have no boxing skills your not going anywhere. James would laugh at Skelton, counter him to death and just wham that right hand straight onto Skelton every single time. It would be such an easy win for Toney, how can you deny this?

Danny Williams would of beaten Skelton inside three rounds, no problem, it would of been a big step up in class if Skelton had fought Williams and it would of been a mismatch.
