Is Today's Heavyweight Division The WORST Ever?

It was pretty bad during the Carnera, Baer, Schmelling, Sharkey days. And it was also pretty bad in the period between Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson, with names like Pinklon Thomas, Greg Page, Tim Witherspoon, Scott Ledoux, Gerrie Coetzee, and Michael Dokes.

But Klitscho and Company have to be rock bottom. The heavyweights have never been this bad. If you put these guys back in the 1970s, they'd barely crack the top 10. They're that bad. I'm sorry to say.

its only bad cause there are no american champions... and cause the klitschkos are the kings of the hw division.. once a american hw becomes champ, or the klitschkos retire, the division will magically become good..

Outside of the Klitschko brothers, yes. I'm not only talking about right now as the future may look brighter, but the whole post-Lewis and Vitali's first retirement era.

          My post from another thread:

Either Klitschko would be more than capable of beating any heavyweight from any era.

Ali, Frazier, Louis, Foreman, Holmes, Marciano, etc weren't even real world champions because they never competed against the superior Soviets.

Soviets weren't allowed to turn pro until 1990s because of the cold war.

Now Soviets are allowed to turn pro and we're already taking over boxing.

This is just the beginning of the Eastern European domination.

The Heavyweight division is in a poor state. Anyone that doesn't agree is obviously a Klitoris.

no, because at least the Klitschko bros are good.

remember in 2005 or so, right after Vitali retired, and Wlad was coming off of losses to Brewster and Sanders? oh man that ******. Chris Byrd was the best guy in the division.
that might have been the worst division ever right there.

                  hahahahahahahah!

Another troll that needs a boxing lesson. You want to see a ****ty HW era watch the Holmes or Tyson era TS. HW was even worse when Wlad and Vitali first took over. There's many good fighters today... that's if you can keep you childish patriotism in check and check out European prospects and british loud mouth's.

YES!!! It is very BAD...but so was Lennox ERA and Holyfield ERA and Rid**** Bowe ERA and Mike Tyson's ERA wasn't that great either, Holyfield ERA was so bad, even Foreman at a old age was able to come out of retirement and win a title again by destroying Michael Moore

Klitchko fans are trying to make this a Race thing when that has absolutely nothing to do with it, it is more of a Country thing

US Media disrespect their own more then probably any other country
