Why do the ref break up as soon as a clinch occurs?

I mean thats taking every advantage away from Peter. Would be nice to let them the punch it out from time to time.

Peter is not doing anything in the clinch. There's no advantage for Wlad.

first off Peter isn't "working inside". He's just holding and leaning on Wlad. Second, why would you want to see more holding? It's by far the worst part of boxing(in the ring at least)

I'm pretty sure if you have at least 1 arm free in a clinch it's legal.
