He's not that bad...just a brawler, but he does have some decent ability. He is a dangerous fighter because he has good intangibles and the equaliser. I wouldn't call him a bum at all, he's fringe world class, he's not fast, but I wouldn't call him dead slow either, he has a pretty intense work rate, and is a tough hombre, you have to consider he is young also and is learning and improving, like his body punching seems to have improved, but any all round good fighter will beat him, most guys in the top 10 imo would beat him. As a purist it would be a shame if he beat khan, cos khan has much...much more potential. But these things happen, its a crazy sport and unique in this way. I love it!Comment

I do agree though that with the figure on the table then maidana should only get 500k or so. Khan has been making 7 figures in british pounds for quite a while now, if maidana wants $700k+ he has to come to the UK...its as simple as that.Comment

Oh Lord! Who cares how much he gets for the fight? That's not the important thing here. What is, is this: Kahn has to beat a big puncher in convincing fashion before people will forget about the Prescott blowout. Otherwise, he'll always have that hanging over his head. He needs to rectify that. Sorta' like when Vitali quit against Byrd, and came back and showed a warrior's heart against Lewis. In boxing, you have to redeem yourself after a bad performance, and Kahn has yet to do that. End of story.Comment
