im a huge fan and admire him for everhting he has achieved at his age and before, but sometimes the thought crosses my mind on how he is still so sharp and this video kinda got me thinking about it aswel...

    He eats perfect.

    Hes a workout warrior.

    Hes talented as hell.

    His style allows for longevity.

I dont think he was sharp though especially compared to him in his Prime.

I seriously doubt he's on PEDs, he prides himself on being an old school boxer meaning that he stays in shape all year round which would help keep him sharp.

Plus like Burner said his style is age "friendly", he's extremely talented and his ring savvy really is something else.

He's pretty darn good for his age, but he's also good at preserving his stamina. That doesn't take away from the fact that he has shitty stamina, he'll always look good depending on his opponent's style, especially at his old age.

ATG or PEDs? WTF? Those are the only possibilities? What about hard work and dedication? The answer to your question is neither.

Plenty of fighters from the past have fought on longer and better than Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins just stands out today due to the fact that athletes these days don't stay away from the parils of a sportsmen.

Booze, drugs, clubs, all that crap.

Hopkins is in great shape because he takes care of himself, keeps focus and never feels satisfied. All natural.
