Gatti was no longer gatti at that point. RIP

Pacquiao is his prime right now.

The point I'm making is Mayweather chose to hurt and finish Gatti. With Mosley and Marquez, when they were there for the taking Floyd decided to coast.

Maybe Pacquiao won't land in a situation where Mayweather is in complete control but if Mayweather does get the upperhand I don't see him giving him the Marquez treatment with the bad blood that is going into this fight.

Anyway, Mayweather doesn't have the overall speed to pull off another performance like that, regardless of the level of opponent.

I gonna stand by my opinion. I think he wouldn't be focus and patient enough to beat Manny. Unlike those guys, Manny is more dangerous and accurate when his opponents are chasing him, and i think that's the reason why Marquez didn't won any of their two bouts had he not chose to chased Manny down. Floyd is a smart BOXER, and he knows he can't and won't beat Manny that way.

That's a maybe. Recently,, pacquiao is not missing too much with his punches. Someone even decided not to open up the whole fight. There has been bad blood between the 2. Its been over a year now. I just don't see your point. I see it as, gatti was no longer on top of his game and mayweather beat him up. mosely could take his punches and could not be knocked out. Even marquez took his punches. I will not say mayweather was coasting on mos and marques. Infact the delahoya fight with mayweather was disgusting too. mayweather landed many blows to delahoyas face but was not even wobbled. Will call that as because he did not wanna beat him up?

it would be another good PR move by the congressman

That would be good for the sport after all the negative press the Mayweathers have gathered the last few years!
