Is/was Hamed the most charismatic fighter since Ali? i think this is an interesting question, of coarse you have the likes of Ray Leonard, Roy Jones, but Leonard, whilst coming across like a nice guy, was not particularly characteristic outside the ring, personality wise, not like Hamed anyway, Hamed's entrances and interviews were worth the admission alone Lol, then we have Jones, but Jones was a bit too cautious in the ring to be charismatic imo, he fought too safe too much of the time imo.

    What do you think?

Hamed was quite charismatic but so is Emmanuel Augustus. In other words, he's not even in the conversation. He wasn't ever close to being the sport's biggest star.

Well Sugar Ray Leonard was everyone's pal except Hagler and Pryor.

I don't think so Camacho and Paez were just if not more charismatic.

                Hamed was Entertaining, not Charismatic.

His antics outside the ring polarized boxing fans.

For me, I found his ring entrances and posturing amusing.

I found his interviews often irritating and rambling.

And his fighting style / technique (for me) was just damn ugly.

But overall, he was a positive influence on the sport - just not as big or important as he actually believed he was.

LOL my ass. hamed was/is a complete moron, a true embodiment of classlessness and crass. I can see him being the most charismatic to the unintelligent, young and unsuccessful subset of boxing fans; he has a lot that Broner man-child stuff in him.

A good answer would be an elder version of Paulie Malignagni - he's engaging, often provides great insight, conducts himself with class, and just all around a very likeable guy.
