I dont care for Doug's opinion much but I agree with him. No offense to any cal fans but the guy was kinda soft for most of his career. Ive been into boxing since the 90's and i remember. He basically defended a vacant belt (wbo -which is by far the weakest and back in 97 when he got that belt it was literally nothing-it might as well been the nabf title) for nearly a decade never trying to unify or fight a wothy challenger. At least hamed dared to be great. Cal did not.

Calzaghe fought and won against a few P4P ranked fighters. Hamed did not.

Prince Hamed definitely was endeared to me more, since he(And Sugar Shane) were the first boxers I ever remember.

I really don't like Calzaghe, but bias aside I want to know if Prince Naseem ever beat anyone that was rated P4P?

Hopkins was the only P4P ranked fighter that Calzaghe beat and that decision was controversial

Then cringes at the idea of getting whooped by a white boy.

No, he didn't. Tom Johnson was the closest but he was only considered a top fighter in name only, he was badly regressing at the time Naseem fought him. Still an excellent performance though - maybe his best one.

Naz is my favourite boxer of all time, but there's absolutely no way he should be rated above Calzaghe.

not even debatable. even tho many still rate Calzaghe above nas, therefore in my eyes, vry debatable.

i also rate Calzaghe higher. Nas fought one top fighter in his prime, lost and basically all desire to fight vanished, came back for one fight and quit. then announced comeback after comeback while walking around bigger than ricky hatton and basically ****ing his fans over mentally.

calzaghe beat the guy most american "experts" picked to destroy him.
calzaghe beat the no1 challenger who again most "experts" picked to destroy him.
then he beat two over the hill legends, ok, the hopkins fight could of gone either way and wasnt a great fight, but he DID win. just like mayweather did beat castillo
