  • Did You Ever Imagine Roy Jones Jr Would End Up Were He Is Today?

Did you ever in your wildest dreams think the once unbeatable P4P king Roy Jones Jr, would end up with 7 losses, & 3 KO losses? Being knocked out by once journyman Glen Johnson via brutal KO? Losing to a Aussie Danny Green via 1st round KO, the same Danny Green who cound't even KO Anthony Mundine?

You look at him at his best, whether it be playing with 44-0 James Toney, dominating WBA HW champion John Ruiz with ease, or knocking people out with his hands behind his back.

Can you imagine in 2/3 years time Mayweather losing via KO to former journyman, or being ko'd by overhyped ausse's?

Still shocking, i never fought i'd see roy jones jr with so many losses & ko's on his record back in 2002, if someone would of said it, am sure everyone would of burst out laughing.

    sad....................

He ****ed his legacy up, in his prime he was well, well above anything we see today yet we get bozos saying Bernard snaggletooth Hopkins was better than him now.

      It's a god damn joke.

He used to be so afraid of getting brain damage and sounded like he was not going to continue to fight if he got hit alot. I'm suprised that he is still fighting

It hurts to watch honestly, only because I know that all of the guys who beat him wouldn't have stood a chance with him back when he was in his prime, that's the thing though did Julio Cesar Chavez lose his legacy because he got stopped by Grover Wiley? honestly you can't take away what Roy Jones did in Boxing, he's clearly no longer the same guy and THAT'S the reason why he lost those fights, it was a visually mental and physical difference and we knew Roy just wasn't there..

To me personally I think Roy's legacy is still intact, his achievements still stand. I think if anything ever took away from his legacy it was when he tested positive for PED's, that put a cloud over his head forever in my eyes because you can't help but wonder what if he was only superman because he was on his super juice? either way though as it stands his achievements are still very much intact, his name is only 1 of the VERY few fighters who have fought from Middleweight and won a world title in each division all the way up to Heavyweight and he did it arguable undefeated because the Montell Griffin fight was complete and utter bull****..

Roy was a 1 of a kind when it came to doing what he did, he will always be a great fighter in my eyes, I am very proud to be able to say I lived threw the Roy Jones era because he is truly 1 of Boxing's great fighters
