Comments Thread For: Margarito's Trainer: Pacquiao is Beatable, We'll Pull it Out

Trainer Robert ‘Grandpa’ Garcia has been getting a lot of buzz in recent times because of his growing stable of fighters. Working with the likes of Brian Viloria, Nonito Donaire and Steven Luevano helped to garner the 35-year old much attention but he has seen his name thrust to the forefront more so than ever because of his duties with former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, who challenges Manny Pacquiao on November 13th at Cowboys Stadium. Of course Pac is beatable, anyone is beatable! But Cheato is not the fighter to do it, and you will not be the trainer to see it.

Nothing but a Pac hater are you?

The Boxing Writers Association of America has named Pac Fighter of the Decade.

Roy Jones says that Pacquiao is either no. 3 or no. 4 P4P of all time.

Emmanuel Stewart ranks Pacquiao with the "Robinsons and Alis"

Al Bernstein puts Pacquiao in the Top 5 P4P of all time.

Naazim Richardson: "This era's best is Pacquiao, not Mayweather. If you measure it up at the end most likely Pacquiao is going to comeout on top."

Why trainers refer to the JMM fights and the Morales fights to help their strategy is beyond me. Wouldn't you think of watching more recent fights to try and figure out a better game plan?

I don't care if ya love him or hate him, but you cannot deny that Manny is a better Boxer/fighter now compared to what he was back then. Of course he can be beat, that's obvious, but planning your fight plan based on the JMM and Morales fights is just amateurish.
