Scott Harrison - the power to make the difference at Featherweight?

There's an interview in this month's Boxing Monthly (www.boxing-monthly.co.uk) with professional journeyman Peter Buckley. The guy fights so often he's actually had a contest since the issue was published and normally fights once a fortnight. Most of his bouts are 4-8 rounders for up-and-comers and he's only got an 8 KO record out of 31 wins... compared with 11 draws and 208 losses. But the vast majority are points losses, and he makes his living that way, knowing that if he managed to knock out young contenders it'd probably cost him future earnings anyway. You can see his record at boxrec: Peter Buckley.

The reason I mention it? Scott Harrison. Obviously he's extremely limited technically and I always assumed he'd be in way over his head if he got involved with the likes of Marquez, Pacquiao and stepping up for Barrera/Morales.

Yet remember how - even though Barrera won - he was wary of Prince Naseem's power? Well this Buckley guy has fought 18 future world champions (including Acelino Freitas, Duke McKenzie, Salim Madkoune and Naseem - twice!)

Here's Buckley on Harrison: "Strength-wise, Scott Harrison was probably the toughest. You really feel his strength. Stand in front of him and you're in trouble."

So Harrison might not have much in the way of moves, but if he's that hard a hitter... will he have a chance?
