I just want this fight made, I don't give a **** about purse-splits. This fight will answer alot of questions about both fighters, since both still have to prove something.

It will only answer questions about Amir's chin. There are no questions about Maidana. He will always remain a C-level fighter.

Probably trying to get the most money out of this fight, since he or his team might be questioning if he can beat Khan. Khan definitely has to be favored to win this fight, his technical skills and Freddie roach in his corner probably will make him dominate over Maidana.

I think Khan wins too. And easily. I've said that for a long time now, as my previous posts will show. Way before Khan's performance against Malignaggi.

But Maidana wanting a purse bid can't be ducking, as it's a resolution to the barrier that's preventing the fight from being made. If he just wanted Khan to vacate, then yes. I'd agree that's ducking.

The W.B.A defines a champion in recess as a boxer who can't defend his belt due to medical reasons. Well that doesn't cover Khan, so I'm not sure how purse bids will work?

i wouldnt worry too much, its the WBA, they have that many belts they dont even know how it works. Im sure they'll make something up to suit whatever agenda they have at the time.

if the fight doesn't get made because of the purse , it's on maidana imo.

it's not as obvious a duck like when he faked a back injury to get out of the bradley fight though.

I don't even care if Maidana gets 100% of the split. I just don't like the way he is trying make Khan look bad when he has already been offered a decent deal and a shot at the W.B.A title.

I just worry that this will all backfire, and Khan vs Maidana won't be made. I'm not crazy, I don't want to see Khan fight another made to suit fighter, because I believe he will KO Maidana early. But there is no need for Maidana to publicly declare Khan is ducking him, when it appears to be the other way around.
